When you are born in 1996, no generation really claims you.
Technically I’m a millennial, but my millennial friends say I’m too young to count. My Gen Z friends say I’m too old. I thought about joining Gen Alpha, but their slang is… honestly skibidi ohio rizz? GYAT?
But I’m not complaining. If anything, it means I get the best of both worlds — which is probably where a lot of my personality comes from.
I built tenacity from the LimeWire era — where downloading a song meant waiting… and hoping it wasn’t corrupted. And I got my FAFO curiosity from Gen Z (talk to me about the time I bleached my hair and it melted)
Somewhere in between those two things is how I approach most of what I do — patient enough to stick with problems, but curious enough to jump in and figure things out along the way. I think that middle ground is where I’m most comfortable: learning quickly, trying things out, and improving as I go.
